collection, whether at a single or multi-family residence, a
commercial customer, an industrial location, a construction
location or a special event. Collection is the backbone of
the solid waste service industry. Waste collection services
currently represent approximately 70% of Waste Connections'
revenues, and due to the more exclusive, long-term manner in
which many of the western states govern waste services,
waste collection will remain the majority of the Company's
revenue base in the future. Waste Connections offers a wide
